In a Nobel Prize level episode I describe why people should not look to the government to solve their pay problem.  Joshi is being grilled on it as she gets the nod to become the new administrator of the FMCSA and she shouldn’t.  The electric energy council thinks most trucks could be electric with no problem.  Apparently 75% of freight movements are under 250 miles.  Could that be right?  In the future if you fail a drug test you could have you license downgraded to a car license if the government has its way.  What do you think?  Fed Ex is now running an autonomous truck from Dallas to Houston daily.  In 2023 they want there to be no safety driver in the truck at all.  The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L is coming and I think it doesn’t have enough room.  VW may bring back the International Scout as an electric SUV to compete with Bronco.  Bronco may get  a Raptor version.  I hope it has a stick but it won’t.  BMW says 373 miles is all the range you need in an electric car and won’t go one mile more.  Also, we hear about a teen in Great Britain who need to measure something but only has a USB cord nearby.  He is why we aren’t going to Mars.
