In another amazing episode of Trucking Answers we talk about the latest drone strike.  Also, an update on Mask Man that I saw last week.  I go into the trucker strike that is supposed to happen today but will fizzle out like they all do.  The Colorado chain law goes into effect tomorrow, are you ready?  The Smith System of safe driving is up as well because someone asked about it on the recent YouTube live show.  The Chevy Bolt recall gets expanded and Dodge halts production of the Ram because they can’t get any computer chips for it.  Also, Ford stops taking orders for the new Bronco full size.  Another reason we are not yet living on Mars wraps up the show for the day and the month.

In another action-packed episode of Trucking Answers I declare scams off limits in the trucking industry.  Too many companies cover up the bad of trucking with schemes and ideas instead of just fixing what is wrong.  Also, the national truck driving championships are held and a winner is declared.  The thing is, they were totally online this year.  Huh?  Cowan comes out of the gate with a $20000 sign on bonus.  Wow!  Gas price gouging is in the news and I say there is no such thing.  You don’t have a right to gas so a person can charge whatever they want and you can choose to buy it or not.  A new Hyundai hydrogen sports car is in the works but why?  No where to fill it, maybe 100 public hydrogen stations in the United States.  Also, a man wants some coffee and heads to a coffee shop.

In a new fun-filled romp on the Trucking Answers podcast we discuss brake safety week and all of the hoses that get chafed. The Nebraska Trucking Association goes to the middle school to find drivers.  ShipEx will wrap your truck in a custom wrap.  I think that is interesting.  There is a Jeep for over $100000.  Wow.  The average new car price exceeds $41000.  A dumb criminal in Georgia goes to retrieve a lottery ticket at the police station and will not be going to Mars.

In this Epic-level episode of Trucking Answers I discuss the possibility of a mandatory vaccine for interstate travel and how that would be implemented.  Get it or not, your choice.  I-70 is closed again in Colorado for possible mudslides.  Some trucks get tangled up and I discuss why that is happening and redo the headline to be more accurate.  In automotive news I implore you to get two keys when buying a car and also to not do any negotiations without the keys to your trade in your pocket.  I think you should have work done at the dealer, why is that?  A bank robbery is the subject of the reason we are not on Mars today.

In an episode so hot it is ready to burst into flames the Trucking Answers Podcast hits the big road to talk about Afghanistan and what should have been done.  We then move on to the 18-20 year old interstate debate which is basically null.  Brake safety week and hot brakes are discussed with a tip to avoid getting pulled in to be inspected.  A truck leasing task force is formed with the new bill so be wary.  The CEO of US Xpress talks pay raises but doesn’t give one or get asked a follow up question.  Why not?  The Trucking Answers Seal of Excellence rolls out and I want your opinion on it.  Dodge recalls some RAM trucks 2015-2020 for faulty side airbags that can explode with no warning or accident.  Tesla gets investigated for its autopilot system and we move on to a reason we are not on Mars.  Diet water.

Another thrilling episode of Trucking Answers is on the way.  This is the 13th episode and it is on the 13th.  Wow, you know what that means?  Nothing.  I go over why you should say no to things to increase the joy in your life.  If it doesn’t inspire you, move you and make you feel alive don’t do it.  I talk about some trucking news including AB5 and 18-20 year olds driving interstate.  Tip:  Don’t worry about it, hardy any will do it.  Automotive news includes the new Bronco being recalled and the New Dodge Hornet for 2023. Plug in hybrid?  Looks like a Nitro.  I explain why you should never pay cash at a dealership even if you have all the cash to buy the car. Then, Gracie and I wrap up with a reason we are not on Mars.  Ready to get rolling?

In a thrilling episode I talk about freedom vs safety, we go over some trucking news and I regale everyone with some stories from my time as a car salesman.  I sold at a few different dealerships and all of them were the same, scummy and ready to take advantage of everyone all the time.  I also move on to yet another reason we are not on Mars.  Ready to get started?

Another action-packed episode is on the way from Trucking Answers!  Off we go to talk about 18-20 year olds driving a truck again.  Are they really going to lower our pay any more than it already is?  I don’t think so.  A deodorant fire helps a truck stop smell nice and is strong enough for a man but made for a woman.  Wages for truck driving are up but it is only causing churn in the industry, the same drivers are just changing jobs.  Did you know a Tesla requires regular brake caliper lubing?  I did not either and it turns out that costs $430.  The Jeep 4XE is almost $12000 more than a V6 Rubicon.  Is that worth it to you?  President Biden wants 50% of car sales to be EV by 2030.  Are you charged up about that?  I wrap up with a reason we are not on Mars.

In this fire-laden action-packed episode of Trucking Answers Mark and Gracie give out the latest trucking news! I-70 is closed in Colorado for who knows how long.  Trucking companies are using Visa Solutions to import drivers to the United States when they don’t need to do so.  I tell why this is.  Nikola trucks are in the news but not for a good reason.

Toyota ends the Avalon production after 30 years because all the old people that wanted one have died.  The Chevy Camaro comes to an end in 2024 to be replaced by a wimpy electric sports car that no one wants.  Ford is going to car ordering and to have less cars on dealer lots.  Not a bad idea, my dad used to order cars all the time.

If you are a trucking company that needs help with driver recruiting and retention, write to me.  I can help.
